The mission of the Committee is to promote and support world mission within the Presbyterian Church in N.S.W. through the Australian Presbyterian World Mission. We strive to encourage the participation of all Church members in this task and provide financial support for approved projects and personnel in accordance with the policies of the APWM and the rules of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church in N.S.W.
The Committee will interview missionary candidates and make appropriate determinations based on the regulations of the APWM. We are committed to ensuring that NSW missionaries accepted by the APWM receive the necessary care and support from their mission agency and sending church. Finally, the Committee will keep the Church informed of approved policies and guidelines related to missionary recruitment, support, and setting apart of missionaries.
